✱     OOC =/= IC.         I will not entertain the idea of petty greivances from you OOC for in-character decision-making. Likewise, whatever happens OOC should not impact IC. Please leave that shit outside, it's child's play. This includes but is not limited to;

  • Using knowledge you learned ooc about my character to impact in-character decisions. That's called meta-gaming, honey.

  • Getting pissed that my character didn't react the way you thought they would. My character is their own person, with their own decisions.

  • Holding grudges over things my character my do that impact your character.

✱     No powergaming.         Again, I really shouldn't have to say it but if you come at my character with actions and don't even give me a chance to react, we're not roleplaying and I will drop you.

  • This does not mean my character cannot get hurt. I welcome in-character consequences and injuries.

  • I subscribe to either the grindstone ruleset or a d20 system for combat roleplay, no exceptions.

  • This does not count for stories and drabbles in which the story is entirely scripted. All I ask is that we discuss it first. Don't force consequences on my OC in a story I wasn't involved in creating.

X'pura Lohe. 35. Female. She/Her. Gyr Abanian. Roamer. Head-Hunter and Ex-Commander. Phoenix.

Hooks.

A born-and-bred Gyr Abanian with a Turali father, X'pura Lohe is a head-hunter who takes coin for wetworks, assassinations and retrieval, yet recently seemingly wants little to do with the work. Still, for the right price and the right motive, she'll take the job. Based out of Gyr Abania, she's returning home after a long time to continue helping Ala Mhigo and its surrounding areas grow after the revolt against the Empire, and uses much of that coin to give ex-soldiers and struggling vagrants work.

  • Hook 1. Your character may be a victim or employee of X'pura's head-hunting work, indirectly or otherwise. Such work is rarely without consequence.

  • Hook 2. If you've ever been involved with various gangs, you might have seen her collecting debts and in a few shoot-'em-ups in the past. Oopsie. Though these no longer tend to involve her.

Not much is known of her story between the lines, but there is more to her than meets the eye. Her appearance has often changed with the years and times, but stayed similar enough that a sparing few may have recognised her during espionage. Others might recognise her from an entirely different lifestyle altogether...

  • Hook 3. Your character may have been witness to X'pura in passing while she was on the job and caught her in their periphery, only for her to slip away from memory, unimportant. But a fresh look at her face might reawaken something...

  • Hook 4. Your character may know that infact, X'pura was not always the person her dossier says she is, and that her identity was - to some degree - falsehood over the last few years. How much your character knows about her depends on their own back history and place of origin.

✱     By Shade and Sun         One way you can reach X'pura and her services is simply looking around The Fringes and reaching her at specific times of the day. Many have missed her simply because she keeps a tight schedule, and doesn't want just anyone to find her. The desperate though, the broken, will find their way.✱     Bounty Board.         You can probably reach her through bounty companies and boards around Eorzea, as a professional head-hunter and wetworks operator - though she is much better at the former. She also takes work as security and muscle in the case of an escort task needing attention.✱     Torment of Tural.         While she is supposedly not from Tural, this individual has actually been sighted as a vigilante within Xak Tural that took out the infamous bandit 'Wyldfire' who for a long time held territory and was seen as a necessary evil within shaaloani. Due to the unrest his sudden removal caused, X'pura is a wanted individual.✱     Homura Tsunekawa.         In another life, at another time, X'pura went by another name - Homura Tsunekawa - and was a yakuza member who helped in the fighting of a territory war in the Far East. Though this was the case, she also spent a large time out there as part of a now-defunct adventuring company. It is said she left for the safety of the people she loves, after being involved in risky business.

She holds few people close to her chest, but her family is everything to her. The people below are individuals that she holds in high regard. You may ask to be included at any time but I withhold the right to reject.
